Reiki Classes
What is Reiki and Why Should I Take Reiki Classes?
Reiki is a natural form of healing and relaxation which uses life
force energy to stimulate your body’s own healing. It’s very relaxing,
energizing and healing. An ancient Tibetan method of touch therapy. Reiki is
also described as a touch healing technique and art which supports the body's
own mechanisms to heal itself on physical, mental, and emotional levels. It came
to the West more than 6,000 years ago through Japanese culture, thus the
Japanese name.
A Reiki practitioner moves an unlimited supply of 'life force
energy' (chi) through the client as needed. Once a person is attuned to Reiki,
it is a permanent gift which never expires or leaves the practitioner.
Features of a Reiki treatment
or session:
A one-way flow of balancing,
energizing, & calming energy, from practitioner to client
Very grounding and de-stressing.
Only use is to promote healing and improve quality of life
Supports medical treatments and all religious beliefs without conflict
Never violates anyone's free will, it does not work for those who don't want it
Can be given any time to anyone
The energy is not coming from the practitioner, rather s/he is a trained
“transmitter”
In Reiki I Class you’ll learn about what “energy” is, how
it works to support your own and others natural healing and relaxing abilities
and about your chakras – what they are, what they are connected to and how to
use them to help heal. on physical, mental and emotional levels.
You’ll be aligned with this healing energy and practice using it
on classmates, so you will both give and receive. You can then self-treat, treat
others and even your pets! As you develop sensitivity to energy, you can learn
to “read” it and let it give you information to help you with decisions, too –
an extremely reliable aspect of intuition, which most people aren’t aware of.
